Vondelmolen Logo

The new Nucleus logo always makes me think of the logo of a gingerbread (peperkoek in dutch, pain d'épices in french) company called Vondelmolen. It also has an "L" in the middle of the name, and has a windmill in the logo. I always start my day with a slice of their gingerbread, so I get to look at the logo often enough.

I'm pretty sure Moraes (the Nucleus logo designer) didn't know about this logo, so plagiarism is out of the question :)

Hehe. Have just discovered this dev blog. In fact, when I first draw the logo (a previous version for the plugins site) the intention was to make parts connecting to each other (the plugins connecting to the core). But then it seemed like a lighthouse (not a windmill), and I thought a lighthouse has convenient meanings, so I´ve added yellow colors to develop the idea.

But the main concept is still parts connecting to each other - the L representing the core and the rays representing the possibilities. Wow. I feel a little strange explaining this. :-))
