The code for account activation has been committed to CVS. I need to do some more testing and tweaking, but it's starting to look fine.

If you're tracking CVS, you'll notice the addition of an upgrade3.2.php file. This does not mean that the next Nucleus version will be v3.2. I just needed something larger than v3.1. The actual version number will be decided based on the number of changes made. The reason for including an upgrade script now, is that you'll need it to create the new nucleus_activation table.

Comments

I updated my both local Nucleus CVS installation and tried to create an account which worked :-)
But i have some comments/ideas:
- currently an admin can not see which accounts are activated and which not from inside the admin area, accounts that are not activated just show up with the ones activated. Maybe add an extra column in that table 'activeted?'.
- Admins should be able to approve accounts. This is usefull when they are togheter with the person that is creating an account, then the admin can just approve it immediately.
- Would it be possible to show the 'choose a password'-form on a page /inside/ the blog, or on a seperate html-page like createaccount.html? After clicking the activation link the new user sees the admin area with no recognition to the website where he created an account and nucleus users are going to ask this ;-)
