After some digging, I've found some zipfiles for old releases (pre GPL = pre v2.0). They can now be found in the Nucleus Museum.

The pre-v0.9 directory contains versions that were never officially released. The Nucleus0.01.zip file even contains code that uses XML files to store data instead of XML.

My first Nucleus was 0.9.3. And my first question posted at the forum was "So... when the new version will be released?".

Hahahahaha!!! :-))

@moraes: I can only think of one earlier adopter: Raoul from elrado.nl jumped on the wagon at the very first release (0.9) I released 4 versions in the first 5 days, though, so you came along at almost the same time :)

my first version was 2.0 in october 2003  ... but i only started blogging in august of that year. Well actually it was only in august 2003 that i finally had an internet connection on my pc... (until april 2003 we only had one pc with an internet connection available and that was a dial-up, man that s*cks)
Can't live without it anymore... :-D

I couldnīt wait for Nucleus v1.0! Iīm planning to migrate back to it because I was very happy when it was lauched! lol

Haha, isnīt it funny? :-P

Do you remember? Nucleus even had no plugins before v1.5! How could we live without plugins? Were we crazy? :-P

Before plugins, I had some php scripts to deal with Nucleus data. All of them converted to plugins after v1.5...

The museum brings some nice memories... :-)

I think Nucleus 1.0 was my first version. I'm not sure, but my first forum post is from May 8 2002, and at that moment I had been running it for a couple of weeks already.

It was a great time! ;-)

I remember taking notes about how the plugin interface would be implemented while waiting for the bus after my very first job interview :)
